Good morning STAR families!
We are conducting a lockdown drill at school today as part of our regular emergency drill process as required by state law. We know that drills can cause possible concerns for our students and families, but we believe it is important for them to know exactly what to do in an emergency. Our drills enhance their safety. All students are safe, and this is a required lockdown drill. Thank you for your understanding and support!

🚗 Car Rider Reminders: Please take a moment to review our car rider procedures. Following these expectations helps keep our line safe and moving smoothly for everyone.
🎶 NEW Cafeteria Music Cycle: We are also introducing a simple 3-minute music cycle during lunch to help reduce the noise level and create a calmer environment for our students. When the music is ON, students eat quietly. When the music is OFF, students may talk with their friends.
Thank you for partnering with us and helping our Stars learn these routines! Together, we can make arrival, dismissal, and lunchtime a positive experience for everyone. ⭐️

Please read through our first 3 days of school information.
Transportation (the car rider line and buses) take a lot longer the first few weeks of school. We appreciate your patience as we work through the kinks and get our STARS into a routine.
⭐ Tomorrow is Meet and Greet and Supply Drop Off! ⭐
📒 Our front doors will open 5-minutes before grade level meet and greet times. Please walk down the main hallway to your child's classroom. There will be staff ready to assist!
📒Transportation will be in the cafeteria to assist with bus information and car rider tags.
🤩PTO will be set up. Please stop by their table in the main hallway.

Please join me in giving a warm West Navarre Primary welcome to our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Kaytlyn Hall! ⭐ Mrs. Hall brings valuable experience as a primary elementary teacher in Santa Rosa County District Schools and most recently as a professional development specialist. We are so excited for her to join our WNP Star Family and look forward to the relationships she will build with our students, staff, and families. A message from Mrs. Hall: Hi families! I’m Kaytlyn Hall, and I am thrilled to join the West Navarre Primary team! I have worked in SRCDS as a primary elementary teacher and most recently as a professional development specialist. I truly love building community and watching students grow to their full potential. 💙 I grew up in both Pennsylvania and Kentucky while my dad served in the U.S. Army. I attended the University of Kentucky for my undergraduate degree in elementary education—Go Cats!—and then we moved to Florida in 2014. My husband and I have called Navarre home for the last 10 years. We love all of the outdoor activities that our community has to offer!
