Transition Planning

Student Led Transition

Here at West Navarre Primary, we are an Anchor 4 Life School. This is a Navy funded program that focuses on connecting youth and helping them attain coping and resiliency skills with an emphasis on peer-to-peer interactions and relationships.  It is open to all students and not just the military students. We offer student led tours for all incoming students to include the military students. Our on-site Military Family Life Consultants try to connect with all new military students and have them join one of our military groups so that they can immediately meet other military students.

For more information regarding this program please visit https://anchored4life.com/

Purple Up Day - Month of the Military Child

Each year we honor our military students during the month of April as it is the Month of the Military Child (MOMC).  The district/state has designated April 15th as the official Purple Up Day.  During that week, we will have daily dress up themes, and will also hold a special celebration for the Children of Military Families.

As we get closer to April, the schedule and events will be posted!

A Sweet Salute to Our Veterans

West Navarre Primary cordially invites you to a Sweet Salute to Our Veterans, a special cupcake party to honor all who have served and continue to serve our country.

This event will be held on Wednesday, November 6 from 1:15-1:45 in our cafeteria. Veterans and active duty service members are invited to attend. After showing a state-issued ID, visitors will meet their child in the cafeteria to enjoy a patriotic cupcake. The party will end promptly at 1:45, as we must prepare for afternoon dismissal immediately after.

We kindly request all attendees RSVP online by Wednesday, October 30. Parents will have the option to check their child out directly from the party, if they indicate their intention to do so on the RSVP form. This will count as an excused early check out.

Please RSVP here: https://forms.office.com/r/gesyCcPkve

Thank you for your continued support of our school and community. We look forward to honoring our veterans with you.
