Student Led Transition

Here at West Navarre Primary, we are an Anchor 4 Life School. This is a Navy funded program that focuses on connecting youth and helping them attain coping and resiliency skills with an emphasis on peer-to-peer interactions and relationships.  It is open to all students and not just the military students. We offer student led tours for all incoming students to include the military students. Our on-site Military Family Life Consultants try to connect with all new military students and have them join one of our military groups so that they can immediately meet other military students.

Purple Up Day - Month of the Military Child

We will be honoring our military students again this year during the month of April as it is the Month of the Military Child (MOMC).  The district/state has designated April 17th as the official Purple Up Day.  That week we will have daily dress up themes.  We will also have an ice cream party for the military students on Wednesday April 17th.   There is also a fundraiser for Purple Up t-shirts for those wanting to donate www.customink.com/fundraising/mmc24

Past Events

Pizza with Patriots

Please join us for a special lunch (during your child's regular lunch time) to honor all past and present members of the Armed Forces. Lunch will be free for all past and present service members. The cost for civilian adults and students is $2 per person. If you would like to bring your own lunch or have your child go through the regular cafeteria line, you may. We kindly ask you to RSVP so we can plan for appropriate seating. You must RSVP, pre-order and pre-pay for your lunch by Nov. 6.

Here’s how it will work:

1. Click this link and complete the RSVP Form (even if you aren’t eating/ordering pizza, we need to know how many people are coming) https://forms.office.com/r/4m5wQZQNgN

2. If you are buying lunch plates, send exact change/cash OR a check made out to WNP to your child’s teacher. Please make sure your payment is clearly labeled with your child’s name and the number of plates you are purchasing.

3. Once we have received your RSVP and payment, we will send home tickets and a receipt.

4. On the day of the event, arrive 5 minutes before your child’s lunch time. Remember, you must show a state-issued ID to enter any school building.

5. Sign in as a visitor at the front of the school, get a visitor badge, and make your way to the cafeteria. Enjoy your lunch!
